Struthio Cucullo Spoonbill

Struthio Cucullo Spoonbill, a ratite of the infra class Palaeograthae is a flightless bird. Having a diet similar to other ratites; like the Ostrich, eating roots, leaves, small rodents/ reptiles. Including ingesting sand and pebbles to help digestion of tough materials for the dry season. They are often seen using their bills to unearth their food.
