Ascension to Daemonhood

"..It's just a sniffle, it'll be fine!..", is a taste of the type of excuses you can enjoy being creative with, whilst covering for your ascension into Daemonhood :).

I wanted to explore, by illustration, the process of daemonic plague slowly turning the physical appearance into putrid foulness as a reflection of one's soul being surrendered to hell piece by piece. (I realise this might not be a normal thing to think about, or to then apply some design process to realise it some more :D...).

After sketching out a really rough plan of each stage after research, I created the first illustration, then the last one, and finally the middle. Numbers 2 and 4 were effectively my tweens of 1,3 and 5.

Traditional Media: Graphite powder and HB/2B pencils.
Average illustration time: 1.5-2hrs each.
